I haven't been playing FFXI much for the fact I've been pretty bored with it lately. I just don't know whats wrong, whether I have lost my interest or maybe I just need some sort of break from it. Well I haven't hit all of my goals yet so I am gonna keep on playing!

Nothing really to update. I have my NIN at 36 and halfway to 37, which I stopped lvling it because I don't have a scroll of Utsusemi: Ni. I can afford it atm, but I really don't feel like spending 600k when I got more than enough beastmen seals to use up. Aldric and I are trying to plan a BCNM 40 Under Observation, but the problem is I only have THF WAR and NIN close to 40 and DRK well above it. I think I should go as WAR/NIN and just use Defender, but in the worse case scenario, I could buy my Scroll of Utsu Ni, take NIN to 40, and tank this BCNM and possibly get my money back. I really wanna do this BCNM on a constant basis, not only because I have an ungodly amount of seals, but because I want the peacock's charm that is given as a probable drop. Hey Aldy, if we can get a good setup for this, can you, I, and another trustworthy person do this on a good basis? This could be a nice money maker, especially if we get the Peacock's Charm to drop...

In other News, I've been trying to lvl BST to 20 for the BCNM Wings of Fury (I think) for the potential drop of an astral's ring. This way I have another possible BCNM to do for some moolah. I am really in a tight spot atm....

I am so overly joyed! I am now two pieces of Abyss gear off from FULL Abyss, and I got a pretty rockin Scythe for a lil of nothing lol. Lukily we are doing Dyna Windy tomorrow, although I think I will be late ; ; I will try though. Ninja is now at 36, halfway to 37. I asked Aldric to see about putting up an Under Observation BCNM so I can try to afford a scroll of Utsuemi: Ni. So we will all see what happens :)

Ok, I gotten the extreme urge to level today, so I hit 74! Only one more level to go before I have my FIRST job at 75!! Im so excited! I don'd my second piece of AF2 today, the Abyss Cuirass! Now I can finally have that +10 Acc without the -10 EVA.

Also I started my very own "Chocobo Raising" quest. I am aiming for a Destiere, a black Chocobo. If what people say are right, if I follow the below guidlines, I should get a black chocobo:

1) Use a Faintly Warm Egg (check)
2) Raise your chocobo in San 'dOria (check)
3) Care for it so you boost its Strength and Endruance

As you see, I got the first two down packed. The third will come whenever it finally hatches. And as for the affection, I should have around +20 or so of it cause I "Watch Over" my egg at least 20 times. So here goes nothing folks!!

It's been so long since I did an update it is unreal. Well just to let you all know I am now 73 DRK, I have obtained an Abyss Cuirass, and I now have Ground Strike!!!

The latest even that my LS has done was Dynamis - Xarcabard. The nastiest of all the Dynamis' thus far. We tried it twice actually, first time was to get used to the environment and the second to see how bad we will do against the Dynamis Lord. So here are some pics!

Sending the Mobs Spiraling to Hell

Yup, I gotten Spiral Hell last night and 11k from 72 and Ground Strike (yeah SE screwed me on getting Ground Strike 249/250). Spiral Hell looks cool, but the damage really sucks. It can either be on par with Cross Reaper or worse. So someday where I have nothing to do, I will go out and test CR vs. SH. I thought SH would do more damage since it is a single stroke attack whereas CR is a two hit attack and SA only works on the first hit. My plans are to now start saving money. Creon has been saying he wants a Scorp Harness. Well I thought, why don't I get the Scorp Harness and let him barrow it when he needs too? Hell I could use a Scorp Harness for whenever I go out for skill ups lol. Well that's all I got to report on for now. I gotta get ready for work. Catch ya all laters.

Well I just got internet again yesterday. I got a couple of messages from Cytherea that DP has done a couple of O-Hat runs. I just hope that O-Hats aren't done with, cause I still need mine. Anywhoo, I still also need to beat Maat. I am now 0/2 on his ass and I have no testimony. Bless E for helping me to get a third testi, but the warlord decided to be stingy. I will hope that someday, I will get both O-Hat and this level cap out of the way. No accomplishments so far, but then again, I just got back ;)

Dynamis - Beaucedine Glacier

Trying to place pictures on here is always a pain in the butt so I really hope you enjoy them! These pics are from Dynamis - Beaucedine. We had a pretty big rough spot when a SMN mob decided to 2 hour and use Dimond Dust and... well... turned most of us... into dust... BUT we recovered and went on to clear!! One thing that was different from the other 4 Main city dynamis' was that all the beastmen on the main continent (not the new Aht Urghan areas mind youl...) were in this one with the added mob known as Shades or in here, called Hydras. Elvaan look-a-likes that are undead and have the one of the biggest bloodthursts ever that I have seen (and I am a DRK!).

To say the least it was all enjoyable. I am getting my axe up pretty high thanks to Dynamis lol, it is now 217/223 (B-). I still need to beat Maat yet, but hopefully with my all-out-potion strat, I can beat him. It will cost me an arm and a leg, but I gotta do it somehow ; ;. Also this is my last post before I move into my new apartment. Hopefully I can get cable internet again within the next week or so. See you all in Vana 'diel.

My dreams are slowly coming true. At first when I started playing the game, I said that I would want to be in full Chaos gear. That happened and around that time I learn that there were new JSE out for the jobs but 70+. I found the gear for DRK and they were called the Abyss gear. Then I labled my dream to be a 75 DRK in full Abyss gear. Well last night, I got my first piece of AF2 that told me "Syphus, you will get there, it's only a matter of time..." and here is a link to the Abyss Sollerets. As one thing you'll notice is that they are 71 DRK equip, however I am only 70 still because of Maat. I need to get a new Testimony so that I may go higher and d0n the Abyss.

Some sad news for the FFXI world. The 23rd may be the last day to post as last night may be my last Dynamis for a while. I have to move the rest of my crap today, clean the old apartment, and unpack everything tonight in prep for the new roommates I have tomorrow. I will totally lose all internet access on the 23rd. I will try to get internet back as soon as possible. See you guys in Vana 'diel.

Alright, I have been hearing of SAM subbing RNG and having access to Sidewinder, one of RNG's most powerful, yet inaccurate, Weaponskills. Being jealous of this, I lusted for Slug Shot. This next pic is from me and Arm's skilling up on our own in Kuftal Tunnel! And yes I got Slug Shot now, but I did end up dieing after I popped the Treasure Coffer for a Map of that blasted place -.- oh wells

Pretty much I got a tons of stuff that was cool. Skilled up dagger to 150 for THF as well. Also I gotten two parties that left me at 10k tnl. Hopefully I hit 70 next week and go fight Maat :D

I haven't been on at all this week due to work keeping me till 8:00 pm every night this week. So instead of getting on FFXI, I would play FFVII (FF 7). After 8:00 pm, there is nothing much I can do before midnight roles around, it wouldn't even allow a decent amount of exp to be brought in. 6:00 pm, when Cythera gets home, is only enough to bring in 15k exp before I have to go to sleep. I want to play FF7 to get away from FFXI a little, and just to beat it so I can watch FF7 the movie that I have.

I haven't mentioned I gotten my Hakutaku Eye Cluster yet, but I do now ^^. Also we had another Dynamis - Sandy, I only go because I want the point and I just leveled, so it will allow me to skill up Scythe/GS/Dark Magic so I don't have to worry about them as much in exp parties. It will also allow for me to open up the possibility of joining Spampage Parties lol. Well it is time for me to go to school again, and then after school, it is work from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm again... won't be on again because I got me a research paper to do, and we don't have internet access in our room b/c of the mod we are doing -_-. Ok, we had Dynamis - Jeuno last night. My Abyss Flanchard drops here, but it never did. As much as people say DRK drops more than others... especially more than RDM, don't believe it. I think it is all completely random. Because every dynamis we done, I think RDM af dropped 2/3 times I went. I will get my AF someday, just hope I don't go like Istari (no offense dude lol) with a dry run of no AF for, what..., 26 runs? lol Here are some pics:

Okies, we had many drops of currency and even some AF! We had MNK and some others I can't remember, but I know we did NOT have any DRK AF2, which sucked imo. Dynamis Blowout

I was at work yesterday and I have been getting phone calls like mad. I don't care, but honestly I hate how I cannot answer ; ;. Anyways, when I got out at 7:30 pm est, I gotten a message from Creon. "We are doing Dynamis - San d'Oria tonight at 8 o'clock pm. This is like your test to getting into DP." I fraking jumped in the seat of my car for joy and called Creon right back saying I was on my way home and it will take me 20 mins. He said it was no problem. I finally got into Sandy, Cyth told me to tell Bremen I am here. I thus recieved a Muteki LP, which is their backup LS or the like. The CS was beautiful for entering and Dynamis Sandy was exactly how I pictured it, a darken version of Sandy infested with Dark Orcs. Wow. Halfway through the whole event Creon sends me a tell: "I think you might be sent into DP soon :D" WOWZERS!! Finally I can cross something off my List! (well I need to learn how to make one first. TEMPLER HOW DO I MAKE A LIST LMAO). Here are some glorious pics:

Well the only bad thing about this Run is that there was no DRK AF to be dropped, and I highly doubt for either the Relic Scythe or Relic GS. Dynamis Bastok is this Saturday. I hope it is at the same time as it was last night :D Almost a GARUNTEE drop on some DRK AF. There is only 3 DRKs in the LS and that INCLUDES me now. The first DRK has all AF except for Helm, the second DRK needs Helm and 2 other pieces I think. Time to level :D

Ok, Unlocked BLU COR and PUP. Tried out PUP, I liked it, but it ain't my style. Next thing to try might be COR, because I think BLU might hook me if I play it. Got 3 of the Staging Points warps open to me from Al Zahbi Whitegate. I also became a Mercenary under the name of Al Zahbi. Next up, the Bibiki Seashell, that is a nice little trinket for a DRK to have just in case things go sour and he just happens to sub WAR ;) I did have 67 before our little adventure into the world of Urghuum (?), but left it 66 again with 189 tnl lmao. So a couple nights ago Cyth, Mom, Kali, Ald, Teim, and I got together for EXP and I hit 67 with a 12,900 buffer and capped GS and Dark Magic. The Thick Gear is looming over me now... and I hope my Darksteel Equipment will sell (why did I even bother to buy it...). Once I get my hands and feet (both are 68 I believe) I am goming to wear one woodsman and one +STR ring from now on. I am not going to buy the Celeta because I will hit 70 soon enough and might get my O-Hat. That is a MIGHT because I need 18 people to take this thing down.

Kir's LS and I would have done a CoP Mission yesterday, but there was an emergency maintenance that from happening. I just found out from Kirst that is has been reschedualed for tomorrow. I am psyched, it is a lvl 40 capped fight and I am ready to dish out some damage. Personally I love doing capped fights, it takes me back to the level I once was. I get a feel for what it was like again for a lvl 40 drk.

In WoW, I finally hit lvl 30 Hunter. I gotten some new spells such as "Aspect of the Beast" and"Feign Death." Now my pets are both underleveled, and will have to go out and fight some creatures that con yellow to me. This way I get skill, money, and items to sell. I just cannot wait to hit lvl 40 and learn how to wear chainmail and finally get out of leather.

I recieved my boarding pass from the one elvaan in the Tenshodo, and I was excited. I mounted and chocobo and headed for Mhaura. I boarded thip, and yes they were old wrecks. She stayed afloat and we reached AL Zhabi in a day or so. When I got there, the town looked spactacular! I was running all over the place like a Zu with it's head cut off. I heard a rumor about the jobs that the eastern people gotten. I asked a couple of fellow adventurer's and they guided me to Iruki-Wakui who was the puppetmaster I was told about from the elvaan puppetmaster in Bastok. Then they guided me to this old man who was having a bit of an argument with his son. I couldn't hep but to listen to what was being said. The boy was concered about the dissaperence of his brother. The old man said that the brother was under arrest for suspicion of dealing with the Corsairs. The boy insisted on helping the brother, but the father said no. The little kid then ran off saying he will help his brother. After that I went to visit this huge gate, which was Whitegate. Low and behold I see the little boy stiring up some comotion with the gate gaurd. The gate gaurd confirmed my suspicion that the little boy was yelling about his brother, and that infact the brother was arrested for dealing with the corsair, who have been declared as the enemy of the Immortals (elite group of Blue Mages). Then an elvaan dressed in what looked like pirates clothing, appeard after a huge clould of black smoke on top of the huge gate. Then the brother of the little guy appeared with some other pirate-clothed people. I believe the leader was the one with the Nice looking hat and named Oltada(?). The Immortals showed up rather quickly and Oltada threw a smoke bomb to cover their escape. My group of fellow adventurers went exploring and we found an atomaton for the depressed taru, and the secret meeting grounds of the Corsairs. The little boy insisted on joining the ranks of the corsairs so this lovely brunette elvaan gave him AND I (when did I get involved in this!?) a stipulation on joining the corsairs. So our group of adventurers went out to the area of the first Corsairs and found a forgotten Hexagun. The little boy heard some voices and found the one galka apart of the Corsair gang conspiring with an Imperial Gaurd. We were caught, and obviously I wasn't strong enough. Hell it was 2 on 1 for crying out loud! Oltada did come to our rescue, but only because he knew that this galka was being suspicious. The boy was allowed to join the Corsairs, but only to infiltrate Al Zhabi. I was given the ability to change into a Corsair myself. Wow, this is too cool. Now to take this atomaton back to the galka in the shop in Al Zhabi and see what Iruki-Wakui says after I give him a new one ^^.

At sometime this evening, ToAU will arrive at the GameStop you pre-ordered at. Thank you for choosing GameStop.

WOOOT!!! I cannot WAIT for this evening to come!!! I just really wish I knew what time it was actually coming in!!! So I guess I will wait till about 3:00 pm till I march my ass on over to GameStop and try to pick it up.

I remembered talking to Kirsteena sometime while she was doing the "Lure of the Wildcat" missions for Sandy, Jeuno, Basty, and Windy. All I know is that they are introductions to the ToAU area by what the people have told me while I was looking to show them my badge. So last night I got Sandy, Jeuno, and Basty done. I have the Invitation cards of Red, White, and Blue (GO USA GO USA! No I didn't plan for that to happen, I just now noticed it lmao). Now I just need to do Windy and get the Green invitation card. I haven't done much research, so I wonder if there will be anything good available to me if I have all the Invitation Cards of all the Nations (some sweet rings or earrings to choose from would be nice ^^).

--------------------------ROLE PLAY TIME-------------------------------

As I entered each town to attend to some AH buisness that I had, these peculiar persons came up to me and pinned a badge on me (they suck at pinning badges, got stabbed by each one). The badges are very good, great craftsmanship. After walking around (San 'dOria being my first town this happened in) I would pass someone and the badge would begin to flash. So I would excuse myself and ask them if they knew anything about this badge or the Empire of Aht Urghan. In San 'dOria the people would be either intrigued or totally apalled at the sight of my badge. Especially when I walked into the Chateau, all the soldiers, Rahal, and Curilla got uptight. I spoke to Halver and he said we were in good political and trade relations with the Empire of Aht Urghan and the Near East (which really isn't all that near). Jeuno was mainly full of intrigued people, and Bastok was just flat out intrigued (especially by the Aht Urghan technology). As I entered Windurst Woods from the port (thinking I have escaped all these Aht Urghan recruiters), when another of their kind comes up to me and says "Here put this on quick!" The next thing I knew, I had a green wildcat badge pinned to my chest (literally, he was like the rest). I walked passed a mithra and then talked to her, she sounded intrigued just like the Bastokans were (which doesn't surprised me). Night fell and I became really tired from my ventures and now I am spending the night. I guess I gotta walk all around Windurst (which is not for the feint of heart, no wonder the mithra stay skinny as sticks!) and bother everyone about the Aht Urghan empire. Although, with all this talk about the Aht Urghan empire, I have heard that the beastmen of the Near East are more savage than the beastmen we know.

Now Wait just a Diving Beetle second. The Shadow Lord only afflicted our land, because I remember that the nations of Vana'diel cried out to the Near East for aid, but that never came. I heard that the beastmen are trying to raid the towns. Hmm, sounds like the people of the Near East are in some serious trouble, but why would the beastmen over there be bothering them so? Something has to be going on over there. Looks like it is time for this DRK to move out and see what I can do to ease the pain of that nation by causing the beastmen there intolerable pain!

Seeing everyone progressing as well as they are I cannot help to keep on going myself (and I hope this inspires you too Templer!). Now all I need to do is level, I gotta level!!! AHHH!!!

Goals:

1) Level to 70. Obtain All the thick gear, Hauberk, and newer +STR rings.
2) Best Maat. Beat him to a pulp, no offense to the old guy, but he is standing in my way.
3) Obtain My Scythe of Trials, Remove the latent, Obtain Spiral Hell.
4) Obtain My Great Sword of Trials, Remove the latent, Obtain Ground Strike.
5) Join DP and gain Access into Dynamis.
6) Hit 75!!!!
7) Obtain all Abyssal Gear.
8) Level NIN to 37
9) Level SAM to 37

While these are my main goals I still got the static for CoP to join every Monday. Also I have my goal of getting the Apocalypse Scythe, but I might as well not list it cause I wont be worried about it till everything else is settled. Also, all mages will NOT be leveled unless a static requires them. I gotta hunker down and focus on DRK :D

My opinion on ToAU: Temp, Cre, Mox, and I should try to get something together for that. I am not in a rush for this because I got everything else going. Also I wonder if Runi still plays...

Over the weekend I have felt the extreme urge to become stronger. I was able to round up a couple fellow adventurers that I have never met before and recruited my buddy Aldric. Kudos to you my friend. We both gotten stronger that night, I hit 65 Dark Knight and gotten Cross Reaper for my Scythe, and Aldric hit 66 RNG and gotten Arching Arrow for his bow. Aldric and I found out that Cross Reaper to Arching Arrow makes fusion. Later that day and the next day, I found out that Sneak Attack > Cross Reaper will either match or outdo a Berzerk > Guillotine. If you were to tack in Souleater > to both of those two before the respective abilities, Cross Reaper would definitly beat out Guillotine. Plus the way I spin like a top interests me more than me just stading there throwing the scythe around four times. I really like building up TP, running up behind an orc, SA > Attack > Cross Reaper. That is so fun! I bet those orcs dunno what happens! With the ever lingering fight at Delkfutts over my head, fighting with Aldric, Sarise, Armittie, Wegwei, and Clearite cleared my mind for a little. I miss San 'doria ever more every day. What is bad about it is the fact I know I could go home, but doing so would only be a waste of time and there is nothing there that would make my time worth while. I will go back to San 'doria when I get that flower for the Queen's Grave. Also, I may not go back till I have 240 weaponskill to attempt a treacherous venture into the depths of Obstineux Obuliette (sp?).

{Alright, if you have been good visitors of my blog, then you have read my two stories there off to the right. "When Blackness Meets Darkness" and "A Dark Begining" are the two. Time for some well deserved RPing. -Author's Note}

Taking Armittie to Davoi to train is making me being to remember my childhood. I do miss the town that I used to know, but I do not miss Tephus picking on Sireena. I wonder how Sireena is... I haven't been back in San 'doria long enough to stop by and say Hi to her. Ever sinced I met Armittie though, I would not know how to introduce the two. It would be better if Sireena would actually go out and be an adventurer like myself, but she insists on staying in San 'doria, taking care of the items I send her. She says "I have been born into your family as a servant, using weapons are not what I am accustomed to." But, my family is not in San 'doria no more... she is practically free from being my servant. Well I cannot control what she does, she is her own person and she can do what she likes. I must travel and grow stronger, I got my own endeavors and the Kingdom of San 'doria is counting on my progress!

I have grown even more fond of Armittie. For some reason she has not left my side. I expect everyone to leave me because I am a Dark Knight, so this is something I did not expect. She wants to grow stronger, so I will do everything in my power to make her stronger. Just that, Davoi, being the perfect place to train because San 'doria has control of the area, brings back memories that I wish not to remember, and some that I do.

During our time there I found something called the "Howling Pond" and it looks blood colored. I shudder at who's or what's blood has been spilt into there by those damnable orcs. Now that the shadowlord has been slain by my hands and hands of my companions, the beastmen should be in a state of chaos. Yet, the orc stronghold is still holding together. I guess desperation out of trying to survive is what is driving their unity.

However, someday I must travel out to West Altepa Desert and obtain a flower for the late Queen's grave, Altana bless the Queen. I heard, however, that there is a powerful Cactaur that gaurds the oasis where the flower blooms. I am going to need my adventuring friends for this. Also, I must mention to them that we got to stop the Archduke and his brother!!!! The Gate of the God's should not be touched! It is not the right of the beings of Van 'diel to force open the Gate! Who knows what wrath the gods will bring upon us if that happens.... Please my friends, we got to stop this from happening!

Despite Tuesday Night's horrible info, I am actually not depressed. Finally games have proven themselves to me that they can make me feel better. I was looking on Alla with a post on a ToAU spoiler. The new expansion boasts three new things that I REALLY like. 1) (and most important of all to me) Dark Knights will gain benefits from using Scythe and their Absorb Spells will be enhanced. I was told that they are giving Dark Knights benefits with Scythe is because they want players to use Scythe more and Great Sword less. 2) The new citys in ToAU will be subjected to raids by the beastmen, I have been waiting for this since the first day I have played FFXI!!! Now we shall actually all be working to a same and common goal! 3) Raise you own Chocobos quest. Oh yeah, finally to be able to get the size and color of the chocobo that I have always wanted. It is sad though, that I think 2 & 3 will only be available in ToAU areas. Which sucks in my opinion. I wish I could be walking through Sandy one day and BANG! "THE ORCS ARE ATTACKING!! ALL ADVENTURERS PLEASE BAND TOGETHER AND DRIVE THEM OUT OF SAN 'DORIA!!" Also I would LOVE to show off the chocobo that I raise, I hope I could get him really big and I am undecided on two different color schemes (if they are even available): 1) Full Burnt Amber Orange color or 2) All black with some red in various areas to make it look like a chocobo from hell.... lmao If I can't have one then I will have the other. If neither of these colors are available, then just an all black chocobo will do because I am a Dark Knight. Last night Kirst and Konohoa took me through ZM 6-7, ZM 6 was gathering all 8 elemental fragments, and 7 was killing the three anticans and getting a sweet CS about the Zilhart and the opposing race. I then took Armittie to Davoi to level up and change her outfit. It is actually rather difficult fighting EP's there, and I found out that with Armittie and her Cure 4 I can survive a confrontation with a DC. During my time there I learned that Armittie has access to Vorpal Scythe now and she attained level 51!! I went back to jeuno because I gotten the drop of the golden orc mask for the Clock Tower Oil quest. I then talked to Luto to see if we can do the quest to save Palometa. Instead of that quest, Armittie must love me so much that her LB2 quest was available. PLUS! She now wears Mythril Breastplate and Mythril Leggings. I did the LB2 and showed that Gigas that he should NOT mess with a Dark Knight's girl! Got parrying to 103 and Enfeebling to 143. So that was my night, and lemme tell you it liberated me from my depression. Thanks Kirsteena, you dunno how much I appreciate everything you do. <3's you bunches.

Okies, gotta start off the week right. Avist and I are to static today with our BLM and NIN. I gotta get ahold of me some Ninjor tools and another Jack. Wednesday is da ZM 5, which I am excited to do. Saturday after 3 pm EST shall be my leveling DRK night. And whenever I can find the time, leveling Armittie in Miseaurex Coast (even tho it is getting much slower, I need to find a new place where I can tank and she can heal me with little chance of me dying). Also, if I happen to at all hit 65 without ending the pt with getting Cross Reaper, I am gonna shout for a Skill Up party 220-225 XD (currently it is capped @ 222!), which may lead me to get Cross Reaper and start capping GS. Oh, Saturday Night was a success for me down home, tons o' fun, and stress lost while I snuggled with da girl I like the most! :D

Yup, so close that it literally hurts. I am 5 axe skill levels away from the precious Rampage, 3 levels from my precious Cross Reaper and doing Darkness, 4,000 exp from hitting 65 and being ABLE to have Cross Reaper. I am just so friggin close!!! Just too bad I need to hit 66 in order to use Spinning Slash, even though I shoulda figured it, since all the drks are like "Don't sub THF until 66!!" I am slowly begining to change Armittie's attire, even though I should hold off on that till she is 60, then try to get her into gold armor ;) I am seen the animations for both Cross Reaper and Spiral Hell done by a Female Elvaan Dark Knight, and made me, a Male Elvaan Dark Knight, want those two Weaponskills even more. Also I forgot to mention that I am 4,000 exp from entering Dynamis and start obtaining my Abyssal Gear. I heard from Cyth another piece drop the other night and it went to waste... what a shame... /cry

OH YEAH! Can you DIG IT!? I just hit 64 Last night!! You wanna know what else? I AM HALF WAY TO 65!!!! 13,???/24,000 to more precise. I havent seen your comment Aldric until this morning, but I guess I really did kick it up a notch. I started a pt yesterday, first I recruited a RDM/BLM, then a WHM by the Name of Rockfizzle (this is important), and then a NIN. That is when I slowed down on the invites trying my hardest to think of what jobs would go along with the three of us. I thought we could get a BLM and then maybe some high DoT like WAR or MNK. I wouldn't care what the last one was because I know that as long as the NIN used Blade: Chi, I could follow up with either Vorpal Scythe or Hard Slash for Distortion. Then Rockfizzle said "vry sry, my kid woke up. I gotta go." No prob if it was TRUE. I seen about a couple seconds afterwards, he joined another PT and later, Shinta and I saw him in Bibiki Bay(I wont pt with that dude no more). He left and then I was in a pickle. We needed a healer, and "WHM's LFP R Us" where fresh out. So I said to the others, I don't want to ask anyone else to join if I cannot get a healer. Then Shinta, our RDM, said He would main heal as long as I got the 64 BRD that just happen to pop up on search. Ok, I know most RDM's don't like to main heal, so I won't ask them or invite them for that very purpose unless pre-Refresh. So I asked the BRD and he said ok and hopped on the Sandy airship bound for jeuno. I kept on saying to Shinta and Gyotsha(sp?) our NIN I wish my buddy was on. Then sure enough, Cyth popped on and I told him "Gear Up, we got ourselves a PT!" 5-10 mins later we gotten ourselves RDM, BRD, WHM, NIN, DRK. Shinta then said either WAR or MNK for our last. Ok, I know both WAR and MNK cannot skillchain well with me, or even make a pretty good Distortion. But there was a MNK lfp already in Bibiki Bay so I asked, he said the typical "Yes, please." and off we went to Tele-Mea. Soon as we got there, I was asked to pull by the others (Cyth didn't cause he knows I don't like pulling, especially with my Bomb Core at stake XD). I didn't care at this particular time, when I remembered I gave up on Marksmanship. So I had my pulling macro set to cast poison. Let me tell you one thing... if all those people that were playing werent human (including myself), we prolly all would have hit 65-66 by midnight my time... We were ROLLING! I decided to use GS to get that skill up out of the way, so the MNK and I did Howling Fist > Sickle Moon (SLASH!) = Distortion (thanks Cyth, you {Monk} {master}!). Once I hit 64 and GS capped, I used Scythe so we did Guillotine > Raging Fists = Impaction. That sc went way better! I was doing 600+ almost all the time and I bet so was the MNK. The mobs began to drop faster! The NIN got tired, and I myself couldn't keep my eyes open, Plus Cyth forgot he had an LS event to go to XD! So I hit 64 and capped Great Sword and Dark Magic. I also finished Blessed Raidience earlier ;) What an awesome day to play FFXI.

Well, Armittie hit 50 and I was pretty excited. I knew that it was time to do her first Limit Break. I was told that I had to do this other quest before I could do her limit break quest. So I went to see Angelica in Windurst Waters as THF and pose in a leather vest. Well after I accepted her request put on my leather vest and took off everything else (yeah this girl is very perverted, but what do you expect from an artist?). The quest was on a time limit and I guess the time limit was so small that she told me I was to "blah" after I took off everything but the vest. This really pissed me off. So I went outside and came back into Windurst and talked to her and she just said "Yes, I am Angelica the artist. It's a pleasure I'm sure." What a cocky Hume Female! I NEVER met a hume so horrible! I thought the bureaucrats of Bastok were the worst humes, but I guess I was proven wrong lmao. So, hopefully she will let me try again today so I can continue with my ventures with Armittie. But on this attempt, I will change into PLD, put on a bronze harness and nothing else, and immediantly talk to her after I accept the quest. Let's see how she likes that! My new Highest Damage record was a Zerk>LR>SE>Guillotine on a Gigas in Miseaux Coast and did 1435 points of damage. Oh yeah, being a DRK is so awesome. Also I gotten into another pt yesterday. The setup was RDM/BLM, RDM/BLM, BLM/WHM, NIN/WAR, SAM/THF, and I as DRK/WAR. At first I thought this pt was not going to work, but the pt did actually kept on going and we were hitting chain 4 constantly (Guess two RDMs using Convert really helped). Plus with 2 RDM's I was constantly refreshed, NICE! I didn't hit 64, but I am now 1,300 from 64. So the next pt I am in with Cyth or another pt invite I get I will hit 64. I will only pull one level away from Cyth so we can still pt together. She has been really nice to me so I am not even gonna attemp to leave her in the dust. We will hit 75 together (even though she is a 75 RNG and ~70 ish MNK -.-).

Well, I went on a small vacation (I hope you can tell when I do my poor job of role playing and being my actual self lmao) for the weekend, calling off of school just because I am getting frustrated and was so homesick it wasn't funny. I had the most fun those past three days. Sunday Night I went snow tubing for the first time and about killed myself (thank god for nets being place at the end of the run, or I would have gone over the edge lmao). So I had good times to relief some of my stress. I also got some other worries off my back and now I feel that I am close to being my normal self again. I plan on getting back on FFXI tomorrow. So in response to your comment Kirst, I will be available tomorrow prolly around... um.. 4 pm your time? jeeze all I know it will be 12:00 pm my time (est). My friend that plays Avist wanted me to get on and do stuff yesterday, but they had the HELL of a big patch, so I lost complete interest in playing last night and just played FFX that my roomie brought home. I will play FFX again tonight, or I may pop on after work just to enjoy a little time with my NPC.

Although I feel like I may be returning to my normal self, I still feel weird (like the title). In all honest opinion, I just cannot wait till this November when I graduate and return to the town I live in. I just feel so out of place up here, also unwelcomed alot of the time.

Alrighty, last night was cool. I changed into BST (Beastmaster fyi) and went out to level it because my friend Avist wants to do the BCNM 20 that drop the astrals, but my BST needs to hit 20 first and it was only 12. Expecting him to show up soon I figured I would start fighting. I ate a meat mithkabob and found out that if I Paralyze from a distance then Dia, I could take on a Tough and live with a little more that 1/4 of my life left. So I did that and eventually hit 13 and then my friend sent me a tell telling me why he was late. No prob of course, and he came on out to Valkurm (First I was lvling in La Thiene). We killed a couple of monsters and I recieved a tell from Cytherea "Are you there?" That got me to thinking. I seen Cytherea earlier because she passed me in La Thiene. Of course I responded "Yeah, I am here. What's going on?" Then she proceeded to ask me if I wanted to exp DRK some. Hell I couldn't pass it up, it is not very often I get to xp DRK. So I told Avist that I was sorry and we will have to make my BST hit 20 another day. The exp pt setup was this SMN/WHM, WHM/BLM, BLM/WHM, DRK/THF, DRK/WAR (Myself), and PLD/WAR (what else would a PLD sub for an xp party? :P). We couldn't find a refresher, but Hastega from Garuda allowed us to speed things up a bit. We hit a couple of rough spots, a couple of deaths, but we manage. Ok, I know Humes are well balanced in everything, but you still need that Hauby or at least 2 Sniper's. Just a Vassago's (even tho those things are not 500k anymore...) and a Venerer Ring just wont cut it. But I guess everything was fine, just as long as he subbed THF and ate his Tuna Sushi (dunno if that provides that 15 or so % Acc.). I had my damage filter on so I didn't know what his damage was like or when he went on Missing fests. Although I, being the dumbass, forgot my damned Woodsman Rings. Luckily I had my Hauby and two +3STR rings with me (One being a HQ Puissiance Ring and a nq Sun Ring). So I had my share of misses (even tho I ate Sole Sushi +1), prolly cause I subbed WAR. Also I was using my Zweihander, so I lose the +5 Acc from my Vassago's (I had to, needed to keep GS up with Scythe). Oh well, lets just say, my fellow DRK got me to thinking about how badly this Acc thing is over-rated (but I shouldn't I am Elvaan, worst Acc in the game SUPPOSEDLY). Anyways, during one of our rough spots we just got to the second mob and really running low on magic and our PLD running out of Life. So after the mob went below half life, and Zerk came back to me, I hit my "OVERDRIVE." Berserk > Last Resort > Souleater, I loved it, I made my fellow DRK do this ".........". Heh I know I made him think "he did a no-no..." but right after that, I did prolly what really retarded DRKs wouldn't do if they did that, I used Bloodweapon. So immediently I was hitting 150+ and gaining that life right back. Then I (accidentally) used Powerslash (shoulda done Sickle Moon Slash) and did 400+ points of damage and really pissed the mob off. But I left all my JA's run out and we killed the mob. Everyone, except for Cyth cause he seen me do this a couple of times, were on the speechless side or like "dude..." or the like :P After the pt, it didn't last long but it did get me 11k into 63, Cyth and I went back to Quicksand Caves with our NPCs and skilled. And guess who poped? Mr. Sagittarius X-XIII did. So we fought him and once again, I took an EES to the FACE! This time tho, it only hit me for 500 damage and I survived. YEAH MOFO WHAT NOW? YOUR EES WAS A JOKE! (a little venting lol). I got my axe skill to 158 and the skill ups seems just to get slower. Although I am skilling up other things now. Marks hit 131 and enfeeblings hit around 136 I think. Kirst, when we gonna farm flood again? XD

Quicksand Cave Fun

Fun times, just plain ol' fun times. Mondays are now set as the time I spend lvling my Ninja with my buddy Avist's BLM. We need to take them to 37 for subs. I NEED NIN for a WAR sub if I want to take WAR to 75 like I want. I also need to start lvling MNK (yeah... not in the mood for another all noob pt in the Valkurm Dunes). BUT, DRK is still my main Priority. I am now 8,000/23,000 exp into 63. Before Avist and I pt'ed (I got on around three hours before our time), I took Armittie out with my Signal Pearl and tried to skill up GA (Great Axe). After she left (got to 124 GA skill), I looked in my Inventory for my Tatics Pearl and realised it is a new week for a new Tatics Pearl! So off I went, changed to WAR/NIN, headed to Promy-Mea, and fought a ton of empty (creatures w/o souls that desire destruction, I think). I got Armittie 1060 exp for that run. I went back to Jeuno, for now it was time to turn into a {Ninja} {tools} and pt with Avist. We gotten a good pt together consisted of BLM, WHM, NIN, PLD, SAM, and MNK. Avist and I both gotten two levels and I am now lvl 27 NIN. After we were done I was gonna help Avist get him Warp and Teleport-Dem. Then Cytherea sent me a tell asking if we could get him another Tatic's Pearl. So him, Liabelle (his NPC), and I fought a couple empty and got Liabelle 560 exp in Promy-Mea. One of these days I am gonna go to a different Promy and just explore to where the ??? in the other two areas. Once Cyth got his pearl, I had Avist meet us in Bastok so we could get him his two spells. Unfortunatly, Avist didn't have enough fame in Bastok (yeah 4 stacks of Boyahada Moss didn't mean jack I guess. Quest in Selbina if you know what I am talking about). So until Avist can get plenty of fame in both Windurst and Bastok, I won't be able to help him :(. I can try to help him get fame, but that is alot of time I cannot waste. After that, I said to Cyth "Lets {Skill} {Up}." and We teleported to Altep and made our way to Quicksand Caves to fight the Anticans there. Everything was going smoothly and we seen a lone 61 DRG there soloing the Ants. No problem, there was enough prey there to keep both her and my little skill up pt content. Cyth and I went a little deeper and when we turned around to head back... the NM Sagittarius X-VIII spawned... one HUGE Antican Ranger... It aggroed the poor DRG (yeah spawned right next to her unfortunitly). It incapacitated her. So Cyth and I agreed to take on the NM with our NPC's. I was the tank! (I was DRK/NIN dualing Viking Axes). Everything was going smoothly and I was totally ignorant of this NM. Why I say this, was because after Half health I took an EES (Eagle Eye Shot) to the FACE! Sad thing was, being the tank and getting hit, I didn't have my shadows up and I also LR>SE>Bloodweapon before hand. So EES took me down to 75 HP and his normal strike killed me. Ok, Cyth came back, Raise II'ed me and Starsapphire (the drg) and we {Team} {Up} to take it down. With the three of us that thing didn't stand a chance and Cyth got a Loxely bow (rare/exe bow with ONLY 120 delay!). Congrats Cyth! Star also needed to lvl up (she only needed 600 exp) so all 3 of us went around and killed things. We got Star her lvl, Congrats Star!, and I got axe skill up to 150 (25 away from Rampage!!!) and learned Spining Axe! God I love Spining Axe. I got Pictures, I will post them tonight.

Ok, weekend was about as sweet as a piece of Bubble Chocolate. There was a BCNM (Burning Circle Notorious Monster{s} for those who dont know ^^) lvl 60. We faced off against 4 Anticans, they were: BLM, WAR, PLD, and RNG. Our mission, defeat these SONS OF BEACHES!!! I don't think there was a time limit, but meh it didn't matter. Our group consisten of Cytherea as WHM, Witchking PLD, Ehran NIN, Istari SMN, Teimoli RDM, and I as DRK (of course, what else would I be? :P). Our first plan went like this:

1) Istar goes in with Diablos and uses Nightmare (darkness based sleep).
Backup: Cytherea ele > sleep PLD, Teimoli ele > sleeps WAR, and I had Sleep II on the RNG.
2) Take out the Anticans in this order: BLM > PLD > WAR > RNG.
3) Whoever used their orb, gets all the drops. Everyone else runs away from the battle.

Ok, buffed and Ist got out Diablos (damn I Wish I had him, and Fenrir, then maybe I will be a summoner...) and we went to the stairs. It seemed like Ist stood there and took a deep breath before he plunged in there with Diablos. Bam! Nightmare went off! Something is wrong... very wrong.. NONE of the Anticans were asleep! Backup plan comense. Cytherea's sleep got resisted (sleep one with darkstaff, hmm idk), Teimoli's Sleep stuck (I think), My Sleep II on the RNG... STUCK!! Got a MAD skill up on that one, .5 into 135 enfeeb skill. Gigdy Gigdy, OH RIGHT!! (good ol Quagmire). So as Teimoli and Cytherea had sleep duty on the other 3 ants while E, WK, and I slammed away at the BLM. I kept an eye out myself and when the RNG woke, I tried to tag him with another Sleep II (to no avail, twas a vain effort). So yeah I had hate from two freaking Sleep II's from that damned RNG. Surprisingly tho, his ranged attacks never peaked above 70 damage, untill I used Zerk -.- Oh well, Teim slept that SOB. It was a shakey battle, and I becoming nervous as all hell when I seen Teim and Cyth running out of MP and we were on the final stretch and had the WAR and RNG to deal with. We kept it together tho!! I was careful not to pull the hate of the RNG while we were on it, cause if I were to take hate when it hit half of its life, say goodbye to me, cause EES would have taken me out. So I huckered down, bit my lip, and bided my time to unleash my power. Half Life, WK vokes! RNG readies EES, BAM! WK takes EES to the FACE for only ~ 700 damage, or whatever, it only brought him down to the orange, just missing the yellow. Little time afterwards, Syphus uses Souleater! Syphus readies Guillotine! Syphus uses Guillotine! BAM! RNG takes 901 points of damage. Syphus defeats the Antican Ranger! BOOYAH! We won our First battle out of seven (yeah seven total battles to be fought XD)! Funny thing tho, I was the first battle =D. I opened the chest with Cytherea there, I was quatermaster to get all my drops. 2 platinum Beastcoins, 1 Darksteel Ingot, 1 Parrying Torque (F'ing SWEET), 1 Divine Torque, and a meesely Aquamarine (Seriously SE, PUT MORE FUCKING DROPS ON THESE DAMNED THINGS!! I get to the AH and I figure out I only make a max of ~250k). Once Cyth and I were out of the battle, Cyth sneaked us both and we returned to the Burning Circle. The only thing that change in our battle plan was 1, that was change to "Istari summons Shiva and sleeps the Anticans (Ice based sleep? I dunno)." Still to no avail, the stupid Anticans seem to be naturally resistant to sleep, and each battle only seem to get harder. Although I can say this, NO ONE DIED! WOOT! Good job everyone on our 7 runs, we showed those Ants what we can do! (PS: Kirst came down and burned her orb, that's why we had 7 runs :D).

After all this {fun} and {excitement}! I cooled down with some time with my Armittie. She hit 46 and now wears the Eisen gear (I prefer mythril..), also she FINALLY took my mythril scythe. Sad thing is, that means she wont take the Mythril Zaghnal till 48 (prolly) and my Mandibular Sickle till 50 (prolly). So those things will take up space in my MH or Inventory until then.

I work today from 12:30 A.M. Est to 9:00 P.M. Est, so I might get on FFXI to waste the last charges on my Tatics Pearl and try to get Armittie up to 45 and hope to god she wants another new Scythe. I want her to want a new Scythe every level so I can give her this Mandibular Sickle I have for her around 47. I am also thinking about taking a break from Dark Knight (yes, I know... unbelieveable). I am seriously thinking of taking NIN to 37 and then just dumping all the shit for it. I go too much stuff, and getting rid of all this NIN crap would help out alot. Plus having NIN as a "Non gimped" sub could prove to be quite useful (especially with more AGI and prolly better evasion). Only thing is, being a DRK/NIN means I lose a good bit of flexibility. I will be a pure DD and not even a sub Tank or maybe even a spike damage dealer anymore. I would just be a DoT, not an extrememly GREAT DoT like a WAR/NIN would be, just an average one. To tell the truth, I just want to see if Souleater >> Rampage could PWN a WAR/NIN's Zerk >> Rampage. I am also thinking of taking up sword. I know there are some sword skills I wont be able to get (like Swift Blade, I hear that was PLD only). Although I do not know what skill Kirst used in our farming for Flood, but I would like that one! Man, just to see my Character jump in the air like that would be awesome (even though swinging a Scythe around like a rag doll looks pretty cool too, and is not easy by any means!). So yeah, taking up NIN might work out for me too. Cytherea told me there are some 60's in DP that have put together a non full static and that him and I would fit perfectly into it as long as some THF in DP doesn't somehow catch up. Honestly, if Cytherea and I were to know each other IRL, we would prolly be the best of friends XD. There isn't alot of people in Stardo anymore, I rarely see Boss, Aldric, in there anymore. Cythera, I think, only gets on Stardo because of me. Witchking left Stardo for another LS. So I am getting quite lonely on the LS now. Shadowfax, Snowstar, Garfwiz, and a couple others pop on from time to time. All this makes me really think, how much time can be a blessing and a curse...

Yesterday

Yesterday was a pretty good day. When I was up, I ask Kirsteena if she wanted to get her Tatics Pearl from her NPC. Of course she wanted to get her pearl, but she want to fish for a little bit. I was ok with that and went out to Miseaux Coast with my Tatics Pearl with a final charge on it left. I had to use up that charge so I could get a new one as well. So Armittie and I went on a farming/her exping spree agains Dytriamas. Do not take these giant birds for granted, they hit pretty hard and at one time I didn't let Armittie get enough Magic so I ended up crossing my fingers and hoping to god that my Poison II and Bio II would kill it off before it killed me. I would have killed the dytriama with ease and without stress, but two out of four blades on Guillotine missed and I only cause 230+ points of damage. I was left with 71 Health left. After a couple more kills, and Armittie reaching 43, I seen an Air Elemental. It con'ed Easy Prey so I thought with Armittie, I could take it down. Well I was wrong. Armittie ran out of magic and I was running out of life. I used Bloodweapon, but with an elemental's natural resistance to melee attack, I could not take enough Life from it to sustain my life. I took it down to 1/4 of its own health, but enevitably I had to use Flee and run away. Thank god for Thief sub. Kirst was then ready and said we would be having Sarise (the cutest taru Samurai you would ever lay eyes on) and some other guy (guess from Dark Prophecy) named Anthony along as well for their Tatics Pearl. I went as my imfamous Warrior/Ninja, Kirst as Summoner/White Mage, Sarise as Ranger/Ninja? (I couldn't tell, she forgot her knives were to high for the promovian area >.<), and Anthony as White Mage I guess. Anthony eventually ended up incapacitated and having to go home, leaving just the three of use and our NPCs. We did really well, and once we were done, our NPCs gained 1380 points of experience, NICE. We all returned to our Home Point and changed back into our Higher level jobs to help Kirsteena farm for flood in Beaxdue. I went as Dark Knight/Ninja and dualed two brand spanking new Viking Axes (oh yeah, grand total of 50 Acc now!), Kirst as Red Mage/Black Mage, Sarise as Samurai/Thief, and Istari cam along as Summoner/White Mage. We fought quadav after quadav in hopes of flood dropping off the Saphire Quadavs. We did hit a rough spot, Istari got incapacitated by one of the Quadavs that linked with his pull. Kirst slepted the link and we all attacked the main pull. Sarise took hate with a SA>WS and almost ended up incapacitated if it wasn't for me using Last Resort then Souleater to grab the monsters attention. Kirst yelled out "Syph!" but I had to do it, I didn't want Sarise to go down for she was a higher level than me and is more valuable in taking the creatures down. We did it, and we gotten a Raise II for him from a nearby White Mage from a previous party that was there looking for a coffer key. The day there ended in us going home without flood and I getting my Axe skill from 128 to 134, pretty nice! Cytherea and I looked to get a party going afterwards, but no useful jobs were available. Armittie wanted a new weapon so I bought the materials for Cytherea to make me a new Zaghnal for her! Then off to Quicksand Caves with our NPCs to skill. We hit a couple of rough spots there with links and such and had to eventually Escape. I gotten my skill in axe to 140 and I am just excited! I am 35 skill levels away from Rampage! A couple more skill ups and helping Kirst farm for flood should eventually get me there! I cannot wait for that day ;)

Good Times

Thursday was definitly the best day of all of the week. Cytherea and I completed the quest of Blighted Gloom for our NPC's. The CS's were pretty good, except for the part where this Hume BLM (I suppose) appeared out of nowhere and casted Fire IV (I suppose) on all of the characters except for the little girl, he blinded her, and really pissed me off. We will get to the bottom of this! But for now, we had to go to the Temple of Uggliphe (sp?) and find out what is going on there. Cytherea, Aldric, Ehran (the E machine), Baxter, Baxter's friend (sorry I cannot remember you name!), and I were the team. We entered a room deep down in the Temple where we found three powerful and hostile Tonberries. We had to fight them, we had no choice. Once we defeated the tonberries a spirit of one of the ancient races that existed during the Zhilart times, appeared to us and informed us of what the Zhilart are planning. We must stop them! They are planning on making our world a paradise for the gods! If the gods wanted to come here they would have already be here, they are gods. It is time for me to become stronger, I am almost a 64 Dark Knight.

Good Party, bad location.

Ok, from the title an average person would think, "Wow a good party, bad location? Hmm, must've meant they got drunk somewhere where cops like to hang around." But to an average FFXI gamer, it means there was a good setup of six players at a place where it was too hard for them to take down the creatures they were fighting for experience points. We were actually able to take the creatures down without any casualties (always a plus in my book), it just took too long to make the exp worth my while. So all that pt was good for was for skill ups. I was able to cap scythe (@ 217 right now!), took Dark Magic to 214ish, and I don't think Great Sword was able to hit a whole number before the pt disbanded. My best wishes goes out to Deadest, our Mithra Black Mage, who did a awesome job and toughed out a horrible jaw pain that she gotten from the dentist earlier in the day (wisdom teeth pulled I think, ouch!). Shadowfax and I went on our own little skill up pt for sword/club in the Crawler's Nest, but ended up being whored by 3-4 rumble crawlers who linked together. Luckily we got Cyth, who is also a 62-63(?) WHM, came down and Raise II'ed us. I was able to get sword up a couple of levels, but not enough to learn a new WS. Club on the other hand, I took from 80 to 100 and gotten Starlight (whoopty friggin do). So, it was a pretty nice weekend for FFXI, except for when I threw my Bomb Core and had to get a new one... boy was I on the enraged side.

Pain Redefined

I hit 63 the other day and got my Merman's Earring and Bomb Core. With my new Bomb Core I hope that pain will be redefined for the mobs as in I should always hit at the top of my damage curve! My NPC, Armittie has a new Scythe (lvl 18 one) and does a really good amount of damage for being a healer (yeah, a whm with a scythe, scary aint it?). I just cannot wait untill she gets Vorpal Scythe, but that is another 15 levels away. I just want to do distortion with her, although I can already do Transfixition and Compression (light and dark) with her. I think I am really starting become known on the Dark Knight forums on Alla. I made around 40 posts and I am one of the top posts on the "SHOW US YOUR DRK" thread and it is linked to this site for pics. If you are here from Alla those pics are below this post, also may I suggest you search for my Blood Weapon pic with my AF? It should be in November 2005, under the Archive on the side there :). Another new thing is, I have been made an Officer of Stardo, another step to joining either DP or... what the heck was the other ls's name... I cannot remember, oh well. But as soon as I hit 65 you can expect me to be in Dynamis, and TRYING to gather my Relic gear. I heard that the drop rate on the Relic gear is VERY low... which is VERY wrong in my opinion! I think, we should be able to quest our Relic Gear on our OWN rather than go off and fight mobs only to be dissapointed. Oh well, if you want something that is truly awesome (Oh yeah, the Abyss Cuirass is F'ing sweet!) you must work LONG and HARD for. There is no "I" in team as they say lol.

I think there might be something in their future... maybe... lol. GO GUILLOTINE!! My new good record for damage on an IT mob is Souleater >> Guillotine for 950 damage, can you believe that it only took me down to 550 HP? I haven't died yet! muahahaha! Plus I am a 62 Dark Knight now, cannot wait for 63 so I can equip my Mermaid's (?) Earring and spend 800k for a Bomb Core. Gotta have that +12 Attack.

Sweetness, My roomate and I went halfs on a router last night so our little internet problem should be solved. MORE FFXI FOR ME! Also I have new pics I can post, well only one. It will be of Syphus vs. The Morion Worm. I killed that sucker 3 times and did not get the Morion Tathlum to drop. That sucks, I could benefit from that +1 INT and +8 MP or so.

ok, I know I already posted today, but I better do this now before I forget. I am back out on the field and my friend Sarise wanted to get her one AF piece for her other character Itsybitsy. Of course Syphus volunteered as I was doing nothing else. I was glad I did because, although I was subbing ninja, I did 1141 damage on a Souleater >> Last Resort >> Guillotine. I was impressed. This was done on an Impossible to Gauge skeleton which is what made me really happy. In my Boss's, Aldric's, own words "Syphus. You're a God Damn Machine." Thanks Boss, that really makes me feel good hearing that. Syphus will always strive to be one of the best Dark Knights around. Aldric, or Boss as I sometimes call him, sends me a /tell a little later "Don't sell yourself short. You're still the best DRK I know." It makes me feel so damn good to hear that from da Boss.

I hope you all have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I got a Toshiba Laptop for Christmas, and lemme tell you... it's a nice... a pretty nice. (Good ol' Strong Bad) I will return to FFXI here soon, I just came back to Allentown last night. We will see what more havoc I can cause. Also, Templer is now involved in a beta test for a new MMORPG... I cannot remember the name (Temp, if you're checking out my blog, leave a comment on which game it is please). So he has suspended play on FFXI to devote some time to this game. So far he has said the lag is really horrible everywhere (in all towns and outside). His comment on this was: "Take Lower Jeuno lag, times it by 100, and you got that everywhere. That is how demanding this game is on your computer." Definitly doesn't make me want to play this game. It has a couple of interesting things that make me want to play it. Templer said that there are tanks called "Dread Knights" (I think) and he said they tank by doing damage. I don't know whether he said there were Paladins on this game or not, but lets say "Dread Knights" sound like the kind of job I wanna be. Yeah my dream job is to be able to wield Dark Magic, Do Mass damage, and take a Decent amount of damage. Dark Knights on FFXI wield Dark and Elemental Magic, Do Mass damage (if they don't miss), and take a Boat load of damage. I don't truly want enfeebling and elemental magic. I would exchange those two skills for more VIT/DEF as a DRK on FFXI. Thats just my idea of the perfect job for me. Taking damage while dishing it out, and casting the dark magic. I wouldn't want anything other than those three things.

A Day of Light Past

My day of Light has past, it was Friday December 9th. I woke up that morning without darkness in my heart for the first time in a LONG time. I was really happy for almost no reason (not even the thought of it being my birthday ran through my mind). I started listening to my christian music again that I haven't listen to in so long. I was surprised to find that I remember the lyrics to some of the songs. I would have posted on the actual day of Light, but school was closed and I don't have the internet at my apartment yet. I am a level 61 Elvaan Male Dark Knight on the Bahamut Server named Syphus. Most recent info I have is that I was able to get my subs up to 37 (which is THF & WAR). I plan on taking NIN up to 37 just like my friend Kirsteena, because of the possible all WAR parties I can join. I am also taking the time to level up my NPC called Armettie. She is a Scythe wielding, white magic casting, Elvaan Female. She allows me to solo mobs that would take me out even though they con easy prey to me. More to come!
